During the Cultural Education of Tomorrow conference in Trento in October 2023, a number of projects turned out to focus not only on cultural education, but also on a collaboration with the social domain. As a follow-up to the conference, we organized a working visit for six Italian projects to the Netherlands. This visit is aimed at inspiration, further development of the cooperation and/or a possible new international cooperation. Because on the Italian side, the cooperation between cultural and social domain has been taken for granted for some time.
Within the Netherlands, since 2012, an impulse has been given to the cooperation between these domains with the State program Culture Participation (with the arrangement Samen Cultuurmaken from the Fund for Culture Participation). This setup fits our ambition to provide the cultural field with good examples and to keep the energy of the Trento Conference going for even longer.
So would you like to explore this and expand your network? Put it in your calendar, sign up and come to the meet-up!
The initiative for this (visitor) program lies with the Dutch embassy in Italy, the Fonds voor Cultuurparticipatie, Dutch Culture and the Landelijk Kennisinstituut Cultuureducatie en Amateurkunst (LKCA).
