DE ARENA is back!

Some things you can only understand if you feel them through and share them with each other. Not on the sidelines, but by participating in the lion’s den. That is exactly what DE ARENA is for, to be able to step in and play with the ideas that are released.

Grow up?!: DE ARENA on growing up and being a child. What does growing up mean? Do we have to grow up or is there still room to be a child? Inspired by the performances Louis Janssens – Desire and Girls in Woods – History of a teenage body.

Come join in! Follow or change the rules of the game with us! Getting into DE ARENA is brave, because we don’t know anything for sure, but (under)searching we all do.

Playwright Zahra Lfil will lead the ARENA combined with theatrical performances by young people from Young Hearts 2024 programming.

FIELD was created to strengthen the bond with young talent and to give both the artists and the festival the opportunity to support people in the longer term and to make their “dreams” come true. We focus in particular on students who we feel (after conversations and performances) connect themselves as creators with the world beyond. In a conscious, critical and idiosyncratic way.

Kom je er toch nog niet helemaal uit? Geen nood: stuur een mailtje naar info@jongeharten.nl en vraag om nadere toelichting. Vermeld de titel van de voorstelling en waar je graag meer duidelijkheid over wilt hebben (is dit iets om met mijn vriend/vriendin naartoe te gaan? het is misschien wel grappig maar toch niet vulgair? dat soort vragen). De programmeurs van het festival geven je dan persoonlijk het verlossende antwoord!
