Redson

Redson is the 22-year-old pop artist from Groningen, Netherlands, known for his energetic sound and heartfelt lyrics. Born and raised in the midst of his hometown’s vibrant atmosphere, Redson has drawn inspiration from the vibrant music and art scene. Inspired by his father, who has been writing songs in the living room for as long as he can remember, Redson began making his own music at a young age.

His musical style includes a powerful mix of pop, rap and electronic influences, infused with his personal experiences and emotions. Redson’s lyrics are honest and unfiltered, often reflecting on themes of love, hate, nightlife and his inner fears. A talented storyteller, Redson takes his listeners on an emotional journey through his world.

Last year, Redson performed several times at Simplon and closed out the summer at Hullabaloo, where he was voted “Star of the North” by the judges. At the beginning of this year, he honored that title at ESNS under the Grunnsonic section.

Redson represents the new generation of pop artists who are not afraid to show their true selves and make their voices heard. With his unique sound and heartfelt lyrics, he leaves a lasting impression and continues to grow as an artist to keep an eye on.

Mossi
Mossi (23) is a talented rapper and producer from Groningen, known for his versatile musical style and witty lyrics. His productions are heavily inspired by Boom Bap, but he also feels at home in soul, jazz and trap. This mix of styles creates a compelling and unique Hip Hop sound.

Mossi’s lyrics are often about self-reflection and personal growth, where he does not shy away from addressing societal issues facing many of his peers. His courage to push boundaries and explore complex topics makes his music not only engaging but also relevant and relatable. With his unique sound and recognizable lyrics, Mossi is an artist to keep an eye on!

Cody
Groningen-based artist Cody is building his music career. In addition to being a drummer for the artist Redson, he is now spreading his own wings. The versatile creative makes music with lyrics full of self-reflection. Cody takes the listener on a journey through personal and profound themes. His music often has a hip-hop base, but also includes influences from funk, soul and jazz. Cody is inspired by artists such as Anderson .Paak, Loyle Carner, Black Wave and Kendrick Lamar.

In 2024, he was selected for North State’s music program, where he has been able to further develop as an artist. This year, Cody also participated in an international co-write, where he got to pitch songs to big names in the music industry.
