    AFTER

Daiya was born with a love of music.

At an early age, he developed a profound passion for rhythm and sound. In his teens, Daiya was introduced to hip-hop, a genre that would change his life forever. It was the raw honesty of the lyrics, the complex rhythms and the creative expression of the artists that attracted him. Secretly, there was always the need to make music himself, and Daiya decided to expand his creative horizons and began experimenting with turntables and music production.

Daiya’s work as a DJ and producer is heavily influenced by both oldschool and modern hip-hop. His sets consist of a mix of classics and raw underground Boombap tracks. A perfect selection for the true hip-hop lover.

FIELD was created to strengthen the bond with young talent and to give both the artists and the festival the opportunity to support people in the longer term and to make their “dreams” come true. We focus in particular on students who we feel (after conversations and performances) connect themselves as creators with the world beyond. In a conscious, critical and idiosyncratic way.

Vermeld de titel van de voorstelling en waar je graag meer duidelijkheid over wilt hebben (is dit iets om met mijn vriend/vriendin naartoe te gaan? het is misschien wel grappig maar toch niet vulgair? dat soort vragen).
