WONDER is an interactive audio installation about a boy who is not ordinary because no one sees him that way.

WONDER is inspired by the book of the same name by R.J Palacio. This touching story is about August Pullman, a boy who is born with an extreme facial deformity. He tries his best not to be noticed, but people are startled when they see him, and they stare or look away.

During WONDER, you put yourself in August’s shoes. When he is 12, he goes to a regular school for the first time. August is afraid he will not be accepted, and he is proven right. But there is one girl, Summer, who is not put off by August’s looks, and classmate Jack also becomes a friend. You hear his friends and read for yourself how his classmates ignore him and start bullying him.

WONDER is for and by everyone ages 12 and up.
