Life is waiting. But what are we actually waiting for?

Life is waiting. A lot of waiting. On your first day of school. Until you finish school. On your first date. The moment your relationship ends. Until you get to get your driver’s license. Buying your first house. And then? Then it’s back to waiting for… Yes, for what exactly?

A group of young people get together in an abandoned place. They are waiting for something or someone they hope will change their lives. As they wait, they become embroiled in conversations about the meaning of life, their dreams and fears, and the challenges of growing up in a complex world.

Vuurwerk in de regen is about the big questions of life. And everyday life. Come and wait with us to see if we can figure out what we are actually waiting for. And whether what we’re doing in the meantime might just be life.

FIELD was created to strengthen the bond with young talent and to give both the artists and the festival the opportunity to support people in the longer term and to make their “dreams” come true. We focus in particular on students who we feel (after conversations and performances) connect themselves as creators with the world beyond. In a conscious, critical and idiosyncratic way.

A program line in which we put creative young people on stage and in which you can participate in great masterclasses yourself. We ensure that you are pampered all day long and of course we close the day with a great party, by none other than Clash!

Vermeld de titel van de voorstelling en waar je graag meer duidelijkheid over wilt hebben (is dit iets om met mijn vriend/vriendin naartoe te gaan? het is misschien wel grappig maar toch niet vulgair? dat soort vragen). De programmeurs van het festival geven je dan persoonlijk het verlossende antwoord!
